Summer trips
It looks like July is going to be a barn burner for our household. The first few days we are headed off to the wilds of Colorado for a “destination wedding”. As I understand it, we drive out into the wilderness as far as we can where we will be met by vehicles which will take us the rest of the way to the wedding site. I’m told you need a four-wheel drive and a good idea where you’re headed. Sounds to me like I may want to pack a lunch for this soirée. I’ve never hear the term, “destination wedding” before so this is going to be a learning experience. If I make it back from the wilderness, I’ll share with you how it went.
The second half of July we are headed to Amsterdam. That’s Amsterdam Holland by the way. We will spend a few days there and then go on a cruise that leaves from Amsterdam. We are going to cruise around the southern tip of Norway for a week. The whole thing sounds delightful. But, anything that gets me out of Fort Myers Florida in July is a good thing.
August will be crazed. My editor will be finished with my fourth novel and I’ll need to get it ready for my trip to Seattle the end of September. I would like to have the book ready to introduce at my 55th high school reunion.
Leave a candle in the window for me… it’s going to be a bumpy ride this summer.
